Christine Varnado, LPC, MAMFT, Th.M.
Christine Varnado is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She trained in counseling at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where she earned a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and a Master’s of Theology. She holds a bachelor of arts in Communication from Southeastern Louisiana University. Christine works with children, adolescents, families, and individuals. Christine pursues counseling from a biblical worldview using various models of treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Solutions Focused, Reality Therapy, Play Therapy and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). She has sought out excess training in children and adolescent issues, and working through past trauma. She likes to implement the use of humor, forgiveness, and insight oriented work to help clients reach their goals. Christine is involved at her church, enjoys reading, scuba diving, and spending time with her family. She has 3 young boys with her husband Matt.
